What is Nahla’s mission?
Being passionate about both swimwear and philanthropy, we wanted to create something bigger than just selling bikinis. Having seen the challenges and needs millions are facing worldwide, creating a purpose-driven brand was a priority for us.
That’s where the idea of doing cause-based Collections came from. Each collection will partner with and directly support a vulnerable cause. 100% of accessory profits from each collection will go directly to that charitable organization.
What are Nahla’s brand values?
Humanity - Recognizing the human element in all of us. We are more alike than we are different. Everything we do, from our customer support to our charitable partnerships operate from empathy, kindness, and understanding.
Intentionality - We don’t believe in going through the motions. We believe intentionality keeps us accountable and gives Nahla both purpose and depth.
Empowerment - We believe swimwear has the uncanny ability to unleash confidence and strength. We are passionate about empowering people both through swimwear and through our charitable partnerships.
What is your design philosophy?
We believe in minimal yet intricate design. Classic with unique elements of interest. We don’t want to scream for attention with loud design elements. We prefer turning heads by how perfectly we fit. How pigmented our colors are. And how perfected our silhouettes were made to flatter the female body.
What kind of quality are the swimwear pieces?
We wanted to make sure our pieces were made with the highest quality fabrics, hardware, and finishes. Our pieces have a premium, soft-touch yet stretchy feel to them. Durability, comfort and design come together to create the most flattering silhouettes. Our hardware was handpicked to be sturdy, easily adjustable, adding to the unwavering structure of all our pieces.
Where is your swimwear made?
All our swimwear is made in Porto Alegre, Brazil. We are so grateful for our amazing manufacturers and their commitment to sustainability.
How do I know which size to get?
All our swimwear pieces run true to size. We have a sizing chart on every product page on the website that can also help clarify! If you’re still unsure, feel free to send us a message inquiring and we’d be happy to help out. Based on customer feedback, we generally recommend sizing up if you are in-between sizes. We are always working to expand our sizing options to cater to all body types.
How do I care for my Nahla swimwear?
Our pieces are extremely durable and made to last. We do still recommend treating them with care to extend their life! Hand washing and hanging to dry is our favourite way to care for the pieces.
Is the swimwear sustainably made?
Absolutely. Creating ethically is one of our priorities. All Nahla pieces are 100% biodegradable, operating out of a zero waste facility. We also believe in ethics for animals — our pieces will always be 100% vegan (cruelty-free and containing zero animal by-products.)
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide! You can get your hands on product no matter where you are around the globe.
How long do orders take to ship?
Our processing times can vary quite a bit as we are still a small team and all garments are made-to-order. We’ll keep you updated throughout! You will receive an order confirmation email and a shipping email with tracking once it has been shipped out.
What are the available shipping options?
We currently offer 3 shipping options for all US and international orders: Standard, Express, and Priority depending on how quickly you need your package to arrive! You can see the breakdown and make a selection at check-out.
Has Covid 19 affected shipping times?
We are adhering to increased sanitization and care with the handling of all products. We have seen some delays with our shipping carriers for both domestic and international shipping. Please allow a grace period of 10 business days for US and Canadian orders and 20 business days for international orders.
How do gift cards work?
You can place a gift card order by selecting the desired amount using the drop-down. After that, you can check-out as usual. Once the order is placed, you will receive an email with a unique code that can be entered at check-out to redeem the gift card. You will receive this email to whichever email is inputted at check-out!
Do you offer returns?
We offer returns on any items that arrive faulty or damaged. Otherwise we are happy to provide a full store credit. To initiate a return, you can email us at email@example.com.
